About me.

I am a qualified humanistic integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I follow the BACP’s Ethical Framework for Counselling Professionals, am fully insured and have regular supervision.

I have a gentle and warm manner, am calm and approachable, and able to listen with compassion.

I have a special interest in working with clients with anxiety.

I also have experience of working in domestic abuse, sexual abuse and child protection.

Integrative counselling means using a blend of theories, and I use Person Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy Transactional Analysis (TA) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

This type of counselling takes into account your mental and emotional wellbeing as well as your physical wellbeing. The goal is to promote healing and facilitate wholeness.  It’s a bespoke therapy to suit each client’s personal needs.

Counselling has been invaluable in my own life and I have personally experienced how supporting and life changing this can be.

For me, counselling is having a space to say whatever is on your mind and to have more clarity to be able to improve your life. I consider listening to clients sharing their inner thoughts and feelings to be a privilege.
